Biconvex lens
Biconvex lens, also called Double Convex Lens. It has a similar function to a plano-convex lens, and both are positive lenses used to focus the beam. The wavelength range used is 190-2100nm.

Biconcave lens
The double-concave lens is similar to the plano-concave lens. The focal length is negative, but the parallel incident light diverges outward. The two side surfaces of the double-concave lens have the same radius of curvature, and are generally used for beam expansion and projection.

Plano Convex Lens
Plano-convex, the collimated beam passes through the lens to a point behind the lens. We also call it a positive lens or a converging lens. The distance from the lens to the focal point (called the spot) is the focal length of the lens, which is usually abbreviated as f in diagrams and equations, and usually we can call it EFL in the specification

Plano-Concave Lens
Plano-concave, the collimated light beam passing through the lens is diffused, and then we call it a negative lens or a divergent lens. The light beam passing through the lens appears to be emitted from a specific point on the front axis of the lens. The distance from this point to the lens is the focal length. We call it negative film based on the comparison between plano-convex positive film.
