For infrared transmission, infrared grade quartz can transmit to 3 microns, and the OH value is usually 10 ppm. Fused silica Uv Glass Wafers is resistant to chemicals and high radiation. It has a higher purity than fused silica, can withstand temperatures exceeding 1000°C and resist thermal shock.
